We're Celebrating Two Great Taste Awards!

There are some moments in business that make all the early mornings, recipe testing and hard work worthwhile.

This is one of them.

We're incredibly proud to announce that The Lincolnshire Drizzle Company has been recognised at this year's Great Taste Awards, with two of our products receiving stars from the world's largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme.

Why Great Taste Matters

Unlike many food awards, The Great Taste Awards is all about flavour. Every product is judged completely blind by panels of chefs, food writers, buyers and industry experts. There are no labels, no branding and no marketing, just honest opinions based purely on taste.

That makes these awards especially meaningful to small artisan producers like us.

A Marinade That Stood Out

Our Indian Spiced Marinade received wonderful praise from the judges, who recognised not only its flavour but also the care that goes into making it.

They described it as having: "A proper handmade look."

They loved that the marinade naturally separates and simply needs a shake before use, rather than relying on stabilisers, commenting on its vibrant colour, balanced spices and long, clean finish.

Perhaps our favourite comment of all was simply: "Excellent." They also described it as "very versatile", which is exactly how we hope people use it, whether marinating chicken for the barbecue, adding flavour to vegetables or bringing something different to a midweek meal.

In summary: "This fragrant and attractively-coloured marinade has a fresh and vibrant flavour. We enjoyed the gentle heat and the combination of honestly represented ingredients, and could see a multitude of uses for this."

A Star for Balsamic Dressing

Our Oak Aged Balsamic Dressing also impressed the judges, who praised its authentic appearance, quality rapeseed oil and balanced sweetness and acidity.

They highlighted its versatility, noting it would work beautifully as a salad dressing, marinade and everyday kitchen staple.
